Reaching Hearts and Health: PMCI Mobile Medical Mission in Kampong Chhnang
We are delighted to share the success of our most recent outreach mission. On April 10, 2026, our team traveled to the Sre Sar Village Church in Chhuk Sar Commune, Kampong Tralach District, Kampong Chhnang Province.
Our mission was clear: to bring essential healthcare directly to the doorsteps of children, church members, and local residents who have limited access to medical facilities. Through our Mobile Starex clinic, we provided a comprehensive range of services, including general medical consultations, ultrasound diagnostics, blood sugar screenings, and specialized optic care.
Vision Care: Our optic team screened 40 patients, providing 30 pairs of reading glasses, 5 pairs of sunglasses, and crafting 2 custom pairs. Additionally, we identified 3 patients requiring follow-up care for Pterygium.
General Health: We conducted 51 medical consultations, provided 13 acupuncture treatments, and performed 55 blood sugar screenings. It was a joy to see 4 children receive the care they needed.
Even in a mission that proceeds smoothly, we always find opportunities to grow and strengthen our service
The Power of Community: One of our most profound takeaways was the incredible spirit of hospitality shown by the Sre Sar Village Church community. Their unity and eagerness to help—from coordinating patients to assisting our team with the heavy lifting of equipment—made the mission significantly more efficient.
Dedication Beyond Fatigue: While a single-day mobile mission is physically demanding, our team’s dedication remained steadfast. Seeing the genuine satisfaction and relief on the faces of the patients served as a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
