By God’s love, a collaborative initiative between PMCI Cambodia and the Korea Team was made possible to effectively provide medical consultation and treatment services to the people living in Barsedth District, Kampong Speu Province.
Through this partnership, a total of 175 patients received medical consultations and treatments, including 108 general cases and 67 eye-care cases, Pre made glasses 60 and Sun glasses 12. In addition, Korean doctors provided general health check-ups to 38 children.
Lessons Learned:
• The love of Christian community that come from God teach us to share and give to others.
• The provision of optical services significantly improves visual function, enabling
beneficiaries to see and read more clearly.• Optic service is the more attractive to many people in rural area.
• Collaboration between PMCI staff and the Korean volunteer medical team was
highly effective.
