The Medical Camp (Mobile Clinic) was conducted over two days to provide comprehensive, accessible, and integrated healthcare services to underserved communities. The activity focused on both physical and spiritual well-being and was organized through strong collaboration between Go & Do Organization and PMCI.
Key Achievements:
Medical Services Provided : 131 patients served (90 female, 41 male)
Eye Health Services : Total: 68 patients (Female:51; Male:17 )
- Pre-made eyeglasses distributed: 60 pairs
- Sunglasses: 16 patients
Gender-Inclusive Care: Significant reach among women (141 female patients )
Critical Referrals: Identified 19 high-risk patients for diabetes and hypertension; these individuals are now registered for formal follow-up care.
Holistic Engagement: Successfully integrated spiritual messaging and counseling into the patient workflow.
Lessons Learned
Effective coordination among partners, clear task allocation, and community engagement were essential to the success of the camp.
Our mobile clinic in Kampong Thom was a success! We provided everything from X-rays to spiritual counseling, ensuring that the people of Ta Ream Village received the care they deserve.
